“The Widowmaker has been one of my longest and best selling models for quite sometime now, inspired by some of the boards i was building and riding while working for Mikey Meyer in Jeffrey's Bay, drawing deep inspiration from Dave Parmenter's Widowmaker fin set up.
What we have is a wide point forward single fin type template, modernised with some interesting rocker lines, bottom contours and fins placements (i don't recommend riding as a single fin - infact I FORBID THIS). I find the Widowmaker set up provides all the benefits of riding a single fin but with the added snap and bite of the side fins. Appropriate for small(ish) waves to well well over head waves (we do a Gun WIDOW) the Widow is a favourite with everyone that rides it. The front half is fairly forgiving and the rear half is a lot more refined and tuned in.”
