CC Twin

Using the same curves to make different boards is a great feeling. A lot of our eggs and longer boards have something in common with our original single fin. You will see it all over our site, we have stock available and if forced to only surf one board again I’d be hard pressed to leave it out of consideration

We called that board Clyde and through a few degrees of separation it spawned the “CC Twin”

After Clyde we made Cousin Clyde. It was the same template but with more concave and more rocker and rather than a pintail it had a great little squash tail. In its truest form that board can and should be considered a “stubby”.

This is a twin fin version of Cousin Clyde, although we pulled the width in by about half an inch it still uses the same curves to draw up the outline. The bottom is different to the stubby, there is more Vee, of course the fin set up is different but there are so many elements where the two have remained the same.

The tail is really foiled, the rail on entry is very similar with that high apex and the foil is much the same. There’s still a subtle s-deck keeping some foam under your chest and a smooth transition from pinched to tucked rails.

We also made a channel bottom twin that followed the exact dimensions of Clyde/CC. For this one we kept the width the same as the single fin and it created a super fun looking curvy outline - we called that our Channel Bottom Twin

I love both templates and I love how it blends so many different ideas together
